Pursuant to the Port St. Lucie City Code of Ordinance 35.07, this electronic Intake Request is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified proposer who will provide Lakehurst Dr. Sidewalk Project to the City of Port St. Lucie (hereinafter, “City”) as further described in this Intake.
The City of Port St. Lucie (City) requires Construction Services for the construction of approximately 5,391 linear feet of 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk as part of the Lakehurst Drive Sidewalk Phase II project. Work within the right-of-way will also include considerable improvements to stormwater, swale, and drainage systems. All proposed improvements are described in the project plan set prepared by Culpepper & Terpening, Inc. entitled “Lakehurst Drive Sidewalk Phase 2”. Construction activities will include but are not limited to;
-
- Clearing and grubbing
- Earthwork
- Driveway replacements and/or modifications
- Driveway culvert replacements
- Utility relocations
- Swale relocation
- Installation of sidewalk
- ADA compliant ramps and roadway crossings
- Stormwater drainage installation, adjustments and replacement
- Utility fixture adjustments and relocation
- Sod replacement
- Signing and pavement markings
- Record drawings
The Contractor shall become familiar with all bid documents and shall complete all of the work necessary to complete the project as designed. Compliance with the construction contract requirements, construction criteria, standards, plans, specifications, and special provisions is mandatory. Construction work will be observed by City and CEI staff to determine the progress and quality of work. The Construction Contractor must inform the City’s Project Manager of any significant omissions, substitutions, defects, and deficiencies noted in the work and of all corrective actions taken
