NOTICE OF PROJECT

Lake Road Reconstruction Project

Ottumwa, IA

Project Description

This project will consist of the full width, full depth reconstruction of Lake Road from Mary Street, south to the city limits.  The existing pavement and a portion of the treated subgrade will be removed.  A rock subbase will be added with HMA pavement placed on top.

10% Bid Deposit

100% Performance and Payment Bond

Bid Deadline

August 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm (Central Time)

Bids will be publicly opened and read immediately after the 2:00 pm deadline in Conference Room 8B on the second floor.

Project Start Date:  October 1, 2025

Project Completion:  25 Working Days

Liquidated Damages:  $500.00 per day.

Engineer's Opinion of Cost:  $2,250,000
