Bids will be accepted under seal to the Owner for renovations to the Lake Gogebic Senior Citizens Club Office

Renovations located at 109 Pine St Bergland, MI 49910.

Owner will receive sealed Bids for a single prime contract at the Project Site, 109 Pine St. Bergland, MI 49910,

until 2:00 PM local time on the day of May 8, 2025 at which time and place the Bids will be publicly opened. Bids

not received by the indicated time will not be opened.

Project Description: Interior and exterior renovations of an existing building including, but not limited to, roof

replacement, sitework, and interior reconfiguration of space including all required mechanical, electrical, and

plumbing work.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc., 100 Portage Street,

Houghton, MI 49931, (906) 482-4810, Stephen E. Wright, P.E., swright@upea.com

Bid documents may be obtained from the local builders exchanges (Delta County, Iron Mountain, Hurley and

Marquette).

Paper copies of the Bidding Documents are available from the Issuing Office by paying a $50.00 non-

refundable handling fee for each set of contract documents. Alternatively, bidding documents are available as

portable document format [PDF] files for a non-refundable charge of $25.00.

There is no pre-bid walkthrough. Contractors may visit the site at their own accord.

Bids are required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 45 days after submission.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bid Bond or certified check

payable to Owner shall be in an amount no less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee, that if the Bid is

accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance

Certification, as required by the Contract Documents within (10) days after the Notice of Award.

Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all Bids.
