ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO

Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 1:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday, December 18, 2025 for

DPW Project 25350 Labs Natural Gas, Vacuum Piping and Equipment Removal, Department of

Health & Welfare, Boise, Idaho.

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Disconnect, de-commission and cap

ng pipes serving lab spaces and lab fume hoods turrets to render safe the existing ng piping system. Add

new natural gas piping to serve plumbing equipment (water heater) that are to remain. Provide replacement

laboratory air compressor and vacuum equipment. Remove for demolition existing air compressor and

vacuum pump equipment that is no longer being used.

Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Monday, December 8, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m., prevailing

local time, at the 2220 Old Penitentiary Road, Boise, Idaho. Bidders are encouraged to attend.

One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and

electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may

obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public

Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.

Estimated Cost: $235,000
