Description:

The Town of Amherst invites SEALED BIDS for Laboratory Analyses required by EPA and MassDEP. Invitations for bids may be obtained online at www.amherstma/gov/bids .

Bids shall be submitted no later than 2:00PM on December 09, 2025, to the Town of Amherst’s Accountant’s Office

where the bids will be publicly opened and recorded at that time.

The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law.

Qualifications:

The laboratory must be Massachusetts-certified (or have a designated certified sub-contract laboratory) to run all of the analyses for drinking water, ground water, surface water, waste water, soil, and sludge according to the appropriate methodology.

Special Requirements:

The laboratory must be capable of submitting applicable MADEP reports via eDEP, and submitting any other required MADEP and EPA report forms to the appropriate agency and the Town.
