Labor and Employment Law Legal Services

Proposals for “LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW LEGAL SERVICES for The City of South Portland” will be received by the City of South Portland Purchasing Agent VIA EMAIL until 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 11, 2025.  Proposals submitted after this time will not be accepted. Each proposal must be submitted in PDF format, with all documents, including the email subject line clearly marked “Labor and Employment Law Legal Services for The City of South Portland” (RFP# 08-26).

The City is seeking proposals for the following: 1) legal services related to labor/ collective bargaining agreement negotiations and related issues and, separately, 2) employment law services.   Any firm may submit a proposal for one or both of the requested services.

Electronic copies must be received by the deadline noted above. Any late proposals will not be accepted and will be returned to the proposing firm.  The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.

Vendors must be registered to submit a proposal. Proposals from firms not registered with the City may be rejected; receipt of this document directly from the City or having downloaded the document on the City’s website (https://www.southportland.gov/Bids.aspx?CatID=18) indicates registration. All proposals shall include the enclosed Proposal forms. Proposals will remain open for sixty (60) days after their opening.
