The project is located near FM 491 and Mile 14 ½ Road in Hidalgo County, Texas at the IBWC Levee. The project includes construction of a new pump and gate structure south of the existing dual 5'x5' box culverts. Improvements consist of a 9'x5' cast-in-place box with a permanent vertical pump, a 5'x5' cast-in-place box with a sluice gate, and an 8'x8' cast-in-place outfall box. Additional work includes ditch realignment, energy dissipators, concrete riprap, erosion control, and a pre-engineered metal canopy. All work will follow HCDD1 and IBWC design standards and specifications. This project is approximate 180 construction days with an estimated cost rage from $2.1M – $2.2M
