Kyle & Pausch Elevated Tank Improvements

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of O'Fallon, St. Clair County, Illinois, will receive sealed bids for the  KYLE &PAUSCH ELEVATED TANK IMPROVEMENTS until 8:40 a.m. on August 19, 2026, at the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall, in the City of O'Fallon, Illinois. All bids will be publicly  opened and read aloud  at 8:40 a.m. on   August  19, 2026.  The Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, are on file at the office of the Public Works Department of the City of O'Fallon at 255 South Lincoln Avenue, O'Fallon, Illinois, 62269.

This project consists of the rehabilitation, including coating removal and replacement, overcoating existing coatings, and miscellaneous repairs and improvements detailed in the specifications for the Kyle Road and Pausch Road 1,000,000-gallon Fluted Column elevated tanks.

No less than the prevailing rate of wages, as determined in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage, shall be paid to all laborers, operators, teamsters, masons, plumbers, and any workmen employed in construction on this project. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Construction in Illinois, edition in effect at the time of the bid.

No bid will be accepted nor opened which has been received from any bidder who is not a bid document holder of record with the official bid document issuing entity identified in the Notice to Bidders. Bidders must secure their information as to the conditions of the site and all local conditions affecting the work prior to submitting their proposals.

Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total bid price, such security being an acceptable bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the full amount of the bid.

No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of O’Fallon, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding.
