KSU - Laundry Equipment Rental and Maintenance

Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide laundry equipment rental and maintenance services to Kennesaw State University across both campuses located in Kennesaw and Marietta, Georgia.
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Kennesaw State University (KSU) is seeking a single supplier to provide Laundry Equipment Rental and Maintenance Services to the in-unit laundry equipment within University Housing. Offerors are to provide a proposal for laundry services and/or equipment consisting of washing machines and dryers. This will include service/repair and/or replacement of equipment based on agreed terms. Kennesaw State University Housing and Residence Life is located on two separate campuses known as the ¿Marietta Campus¿ and the ¿Kennesaw Campus¿. The services must be customer service oriented and offer attractive, well-maintained equipment. The Offeror must be committed to meeting the immediate needs of the on-campus students at Kennesaw State University Housing in maintaining the laundry services.
For reference, the Offeror is to provide rental, installation, maintenance, and ongoing service of commercial-grade laundry equipment for the university¿s in-house laundry spaces. This procurement aims to ensure that the university can maintain efficient, reliable, and cost-effective laundry operations to support residential housing and other campus needs, if needed.
The selected Offeror will be responsible for supplying modern, energy-efficient washers and dryers on a rental basis, as well as providing all required preventative maintenance, repairs, and support services throughout the term of the contract. The University seeks to partner with a vendor that offers high-quality equipment, responsive service, and a proven track record in managing large-scale laundry operations in an academic or institutional setting.
