Kratzer Farm Walking Trail and Fishing Pier

Lower Macungie Township will receive sealed bids for the Kratzer Farm Walking Trail and Fishing Pier. The project includes but is not limited to the installation of a bituminous walking path, ADA parking facility, supply and install a boardwalk fishing pier, installation of storm water facilities, earthwork including strip topsoil, cut/fill, import/export of fill material, fine grading, replace topsoil, site restoration and landscaping. Copies of the Specifications and Bid Forms will be available at no cost on PennBid https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com . Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 AM (prevailing time) on June 13, 2025. Bids results will be made available on PennBid after bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements stated in the bid documents. Performance Bonds will be required from the successful bidder in the full amount of the annual contract price as stated in the bid documents. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids.
