Morning Session: Kitsap Industrial Readiness Summit
8:00 AM: Doors Open
- Setup: Prime Contractors may access the main hall to set up their perimeter tables.
9:00am – 9:15am: Opening Remarks
9:15am – 9:45am Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization (SIOP) Across the Nation
- Purpose: The nationwide aspect of SIOP and impacts to PSNS and IMF.
9:45am – 10:30am Keynote: Ongoing Construction at PSNS & IMF
- Purpose: Ongoing construction at PSNS (DD4, P891, P859, and Phase-0 Preparatory activities. Seismic upgrades, electrical/mechanical system modernizations, tunnel repairs, and shoreline restoration efforts.
10:30am – 10:45am: Break
10:45am – 11:15am: Multi-Mission Dry Dock Construction, EIS Status
- Purpose: Ongoing construction at PSNS (DD4, P891, P859, and Phase-0 Preparatory activities).
11:15am – 12:00pm: Navy Panel Audience Q&A Session
12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch Break (On Your Own)
Afternoon Session: SIOP Industry Day & Matchmaking

1:00pm – 1:30pm: How to do Business with the Government
- Speaker: Representative from APEX Accelerator Kitsap Washington
- Purpose: Navigating federal regulations, certifications, small business goals (NAVFAC NW aims for 47% small business utilization), and proposal best practices.
1:30pm – 2:00pm: Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
- Speaker: Representative from APEX Accelerator Kitsap Washington
- Purpose: Regulations and guidelines to navigate CMMC.
2:00pm – 2:30pm: Proposal Preparation Information
- Speaker: Representatives from NAVFAC Northwest
- Purpose: Broad solicitation overview, proposal to award process, common pitfalls. Waterfront MACC background.
2:30pm – 3:45pm, Breakout Time: Prime & Subcontractor Matchmaking
- Format: Open networking and teaming session.
- Setup:
- Prime Contractors will be stationed at designated tables around the perimeter of the room.
- Subcontractors & Suppliers will rotate through the tables to introduce themselves and hand off capability statements.
- APEX Accelerator Kitsap Washington Table: A dedicated service hub located centrally to provide instant technical assistance, compliance advice, and resources.
3:45 PM – 4:00 PM: Closing Remarks & Adjournment
- Final Q&A and next steps for the Multi-Mission Dry Dock (MMDD) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) solicitation phase.
4:00pm – 4:30pm: Overflow Time
