Project consists of installations of kitchen range hoods, bathroom exhaust fans, air terminal devices, ductwork, flame retardant material, wood enclosures, and related electrical work at Parsons Lane development (667-1) and 229-235 Monponsett Street (705-01), Halifax, MA. The work is estimated to cost $185,205.00. All bidding Requests for Information shall be submitted online by 5/14/25 at 2:00 p.m. for general bids. This project is being electronically bid (E-bid) and hard copy bids will not be accepted. All Bids shall be submitted online at biddocs.com and received no later than the date and time specified. General bidders must be certified by DCAMM in the following category: HVAC; and, must submit a current Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than 5% of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the Halifax Housing Authority. Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available for review and download at no cost at biddocs.com. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. REQUEST for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (chad.howard@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to General Bid date. NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER GENERAL BIDS ARE OPENED. The contractor and all sub-contractors agree to strive to achieve minority and women participation. The Workforce benchmark percentages are a statutory requirement under MGL c.149 sec 44A(2)(G).
