Kingman Municipal Airport Windcones Relocation Project

The City of Kingman is soliciting sealed bids (Invitation for Bids or "IFB") from qualified vendors capable of providing services for this project to relocate the supplemental windcones of Runway 3-21 which generally involves the following:
•        Demolition of the existing supplemental windcones, foundations, hand holes, and conductors.
•        Installation of new airfield lighting cable and conduit and junction cans.
•        Installation of new supplemental windcones, on new foundations, in new locations.
•        Further details are located in the attached IGM - Windcones Relocation - Specifications.pdf . Criteria for selection will be overall cost (to include shipping and taxes) and the ability to meet delivery dates listed.

The IFB may be obtained by visiting the City of Kingman’s procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofkingman .

Bids must be submitted through the OpenGov procurement portal.

Bidders wishing to submit questions must do so through the procurement portal by no later than 12:00 pm , Arizona time, on Monday, June 2, 2025 .

Bids are due by 11:00 am, Arizona time, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 . The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all of the prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements contained herein. The City also reserves the right to reject any bid when cancellation is in the best interest of the City. Delays due to mail and/or delivery services will not be considered excusable to the time requirements contained within this IFB.

Mailed, faxed, hand-delivered, and e-mailed bids will not be accepted. Mailed bids will be disposed of, unopened, and will not be returned to the Bidder.
