Kindersley Wood Chipping Tender

The Town of Kindersley is inviting submission from eligible contractors for the 2025 contract for the wood chipping at the Kindersley Compost and Recycle Facility as per documents and specifications contained herein. The work to be done under this Contract shall be within the limits of the Town of Kindersley at locations as directed and includes all labour, equipment and materials to complete the project.

The work is required to be completed no later than June 30, 2025.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Scope of Work includes any work that is necessary to complete each item as specified below:

Wood Chipping shall consist of all work required for on-site chipping and stockpiling of wood chip material, and shall include but is not limited to:

• Contractors are welcome to visit the site prior to responding to this tender.
• Chipping or grinding wood product material into approximately four (4) inches in size appropriate for gardening and landscaping.
• Stockpiling material into no higher than 30-35-foot-tall stockpiles
• Site preparation
• Hauling and downsizing of materials to be chipped
• Mobilization / demobilization
• All necessary labour and related costs including accommodations, and meals, etc.
• All measures necessary for worker safety
• All equipment and tools necessary to complete the Work
• Site dust and erosion control
• Cleanup
