ADDENDUM #1

N. KICKAPOO-EDWARDS ROAD & W. CIVIL DEFENSE ROAD ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION

This addendum forms a part of the Project Documents and modifies the original bid documents.

Acknowledge receipt of this addendum by submitting a signed copy with the bid documents. FAILURE

TO DO SO MAY SUBJECT BIDDER TO DISQUALIFICATION.

The following changes are being made to the project specifications.

1. Revise the Traffic Control Plan specification as follows.

Delete the following: All work besides landscaping shall be complete on one road before work

begins on the other road.

Add the following: Work will be allowed to occur on both roadways simultaneously. In the event

there are different contractors for the two different roadways, the contractors shall coordinate to

eliminate any traffic control conflicts.

2. Revise the Working Days specification as follows.

Delete the following: The contractor shall complete the work within 45 working days.

Add the following: If the Alternate #1 – Kickapoo-Edwards Road & Civil Defense Road bid is

accepted, the contractor shall complete the work within 45 working days. If Base Bid #1 –

Kickapoo-Edwards Road is accepted, the contractor shall complete that work within 30 working

days. If Base Bid #2 – Civil Defense Road is accepted, the contractor shall complete that work

within 30 working days.

All bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum.
