Dear Vendor,
This request for quotes is to purchase a model year 2020 (or newer) 34 ton 4x4 pickup truck with 20,000
miles or less and delivered FOB to the Kodiak shipping docks by June 1, 2026. Pickup truck should be
gas powered, include two sets of keys or key-fobs, should be liftgate / snowplow compatible, and the
color is optional.
This Request for Quotes will be used for quotes for services under $50,000.
A copy of the quote schedule is attached for your use in submitting quotes. Quotes will be accepted until
2:00 p.m. local time on April 27, 2026, at the Office of Finance, 710 Mill Bay Road, Kodiak, Alaska,
99615. The quotes will be publicly opened and read at that time.
Quotes will be accepted via email, fax, mail, or in person to the contract person listed on the Quoter
Registration Form.
All interested quoters should submit a registration form to receive any updates regarding this posting.
The Kodiak Island Borough reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to
reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes. Any contractor providing a quote
must be in compliance with KIB Code 3.30.115.

This CONTRACT ("Contract"), between the Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska, herein called the Borough,
acting by and through its Borough Manager, and

1. Scope of Services
The Vendor shall provide parts as quoted by

2. Compensation: The Borough agrees to pay the Vendor ____________________Dollars ($NNNNN)
which includes all freight or shipping costs.
3. Term: This Agreement becomes effective on the date signed by the Borough Manager and shall remain
in effect until parts are received and paid for.
4. Vendor Responsibilities
The Vendor agrees to:
* Provide email notifications for pickup and delivery.
* Attempt within reason to deliver purchased items by June 1, 2026.
* If delays occur, the Vendor will notify the Borough via email and discuss any expedition
options available to ensure receipt of purchase no later than June 30, 2026.
* Ensure all services meet Borough expectations and applicable laws.
5. Payment Terms: Invoices shall be submitted to the Borough, and payments shall be made in accordance
with standard Borough procedures and availability of lawfully appropriated funds.
6. Termination: If the Borough terminates the order, it shall compensate the Vendor for all fees incurred
up to the effective date of termination. If the Vendor terminates the order, the Vendor shall reimburse the
Borough for any purchases not yet produced.
7. Entire Agreement: This document constitutes the complete agreement between both parties and
supersedes any prior written or verbal agreements. This agreement also includes following the general
conditions outlined by the Borough at this link: General-Conditions-Contract-version-9122025
