Solicitation Summary

The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) will have a virtual industry forum on May 19, 2026, at 2 p.m. During the forum, MDTA representatives will present the anticipated contracting approach for the rebuilding of the Francis Scott Key Bridge and discuss how upcoming work will be divided into multiple contracts. With design advancing past the 70% milestone, restructuring the procurements into multiple contracts will allow for greater competition within the contracting community, expand opportunities for the local work force and expedite the award of new contracts.
