ATTENTION: PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS

NOTICE INVITING BIDS: KENNEY STREET CURB INLET REPLACEMENT

WORK TO BE DONE: The City of Santee, hereinafter referred to as “City”, is requesting bids for

Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to

KENNEYSTREET CURB INLET REPLACEMENT. The Work is more particularly described in

Exhibit ‘A’ of the Sample Agreement within the issued Informal RFB #24/25-20083 documents.

BID DUE DATE: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2025 by 9:00 A.M. shall be submitted to the

office of the City Clerk located at 10601 Magnolia Avenue, Building 3, Santee, CA 92071, in a

sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of bidder, bidder’s address, the bid number, bid

due date, and bid title.

If submitted by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope

addressed to the City Clerk, City of Santee, 10601 Magnolia Avenue, Santee, CA 92071.

Postmark date will not constitute timely delivery. Late bids will be returned unopened.

RFB DOCUMENTS may be examined and obtained on the City’s website at

www.cityofsanteeca.gov Bid Opportunities, requested from Heather Heckman, Senior

Management Analyst, hheckman@cityofsanteeca.gov, or picked up in the Community Services

Department, Bldg. 6.

BONDS: *Payment Bond (Material and Labor) Bond

*when applicable and the contract exceeds $25,000.00: 100%

LICENSES: 1) State of California Contractor’s License Classification A - General Engineering; and

2) Santee Business License (upon award of contract)

PREVAILING WAGE RATES: YES per http://www.dir.ca.gov/oprl/pwd/ Check DIR Ruling annually.

CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE: YES, upon award of Contract.
