The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: Wildland fire hazard reduction and wildlife habitat restoration by mechanically
removing/shredding standing live juniper trees and saplings with a wheeled or tracked MECHANICAL MULCHING/SHREDDER (Bullhog) to approximately 1,000 acres as identified on site maps.
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Project Performance Time: 150 calendar days; September 22, 2025 - February 19, 2026.
Due to possible fire restrictions, if awarded the contractor must be aware of the current fire restriction status during the performance
window.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project.
