INVITATION FOR BIDS

Sealed Proposals for the Kings Chapel Elementary Parent Drop Off Improvements for the Houston

County School District will be received until 10:00 AM local time, Thursday, December 12, 2024 at

Houston County School District, 1100 Main St., Bldg. A, Perry, Georgia 31069, at which time and place

they will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of

bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for the Kings Chapel Elementary Parent Drop Off Improvements

for the Houston County School District will be held at 10:00 AM local time, Tuesday, December 3rd,

2022 at Kings Chapel Elementary School, 460 Arena Road, Perry, Georgia 31069.

E-Verify Requirement: All bidders shall provide their signed E-Verify affidavit with their bid. Bids will

not be considered without the Contractor affidavit. The successful bidder is responsible for obtaining a

signed E-verify affidavit from their Subcontractors and Sub-subcontractors.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete the

parking drive improvements as shown on the drawing and work description provided. The work shall be

installed as detailed on the drawing and specified herein and all incidental work required for a complete

and functional installation. Contractors are responsible for traffic control and erosion control. All

construction shall comply with the Houston County Standard Specifications.

Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are available for review at the Houston County School

District office at 1100 Main St., Bldg. A, Perry, GA 31069 during regular business hours. Bid

Documents & Drawings may be obtained from Houston County School District, 1100 Main St., Bldg. A,

Perry, Georgia 31069, 478-988-6246.

Bonds: The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond

in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount and a Payment Bond in the amount

of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.

Owner’s Right: The Houston County School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive

any technicalities and informalities and re-advertise. The Houston County School District further

reserves the right to award this contract in whole or in part.
