Project Description: Jordan School District (JSD) is inviting qualified contractors (Contractors) to submit bids for the interior remodel of a section at the Kauri Sue Hamilton School located in Riverton, Utah. The awarded Contractor will be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specifications and requirements of the bid documents.
Scope of Work:
1. The Kauri Sue Hamilton School was built between 2009 and 2011. The Interior Remodel
project includes the remodel of the office suite currently serving the CDC program into additional classrooms and support spaces. It is classified for E occupancy and Type IIB construction. Major building assemblies include concrete, steel, metal studs, gypsum board, doors and windows, interior finishes, mechanical, plumbing and electrical and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
The scope of work will extend beyond the physical area described above to make connections to existing systems, to add card readers to a limited number of doors throughout the school, and to remove existing carpet in Hallway A119. Work in Hallway A119 must be scheduled and completed expeditiously to maintain clear circulation through the school even in summer months.
This IFB is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code, Utah Code Annotated (UCA) Chapter 63G-6a, and applicable Rules found in the Utah Administrative Rules (UAR). If any provision of this IFB conflicts with the UCA or UAR, the UCA or UAR will take precedence.
The Jordan School District Purchasing Department reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal in the best interest of JSD.
