Juvenile Detention Resident System

Project Description: 1.1. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract(s) through competitive negotiation for a software system and related services to replace the current Juvenile Detention Resident Information System (JDRIS) for the County of Fairfax, Virginia. (Ref. Statement of Needs).
1.2. The Contractor shall provide ongoing maintenance and support services, including periodic updates and upgrades, to ensure the system’s continued functionality, compliance, and adaptability to meet the County’s operational needs and applicable standards.
1.3. The term of the awarded contract will commence upon execution and shall include a period sufficient to cover the initial installation, implementation, and acceptance of the Juvenile Detention Resident Information System (JDRIS). This will be followed by an initial maintenance and support period of three (3) years, with two (2) one-year renewal options available, or as negotiated.
1.4. The contract may be extended for continued upgrades, maintenance and support for additional renewal periods, subject to mutual agreement on pricing and terms.
