To remove and replace the automated front gate at the Jessup Shop. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued to procure the goods or services, as specified in this Section 2, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the State of Maryland (“State”): The Maryland State Highway Administration’s District -7 Dayton Maintenance Facility, located at 4401 Route 32 Dayton MD 21036, is soliciting lump sum bids for a Contractor to remove / dispose of the existing dual 27.5 aluminum cantilevering gates and furnish/install two new 27.5’ x 7’-9” cantilevering aluminum gate including an aluminum internal trolley system that serves a (34’) span, the top of the gate shall include 3 strains of barbed wire with mounting hardware. The contractor shall furnish and install two new (one master-one slave) Lift Master or approved equal dual gate operators at the Administration’s Jessup Satellite Facility. The Jessup Satellite Facility is located at 7295 Washington Blvd. Jessup MD 20794. Vendors should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing similar services. All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the NTP.
