Journeyman Electrical Lineman

The Town of Richlands is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Journeyman Electrical Lineman to work as an independent contractor on as-needed hourly basis. A journeyman electrical lineman is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing overhead and underground electrical power lines, including tasks like climbing poles, operating bucket trucks, stringing wires, installing transformers, troubleshooting power outages, and performing repairs on electrical equipment on energized lines, right of way cutting as well experience in tree trimming and removal, all while adhering to strict safety regulations and working in various weather conditions; essentially, they manage the complete electrical distribution system from the generating or purchased power source to individual homes and businesses.
