SCOPE OF WORK: Properly prepare and paint all exterior surfaces of the undercounter and overhead cabinets of a kitchenette on the 1st floor of the Jesse H. Jones Central Library located at 500 McKinney Street in downtown Houston. Exterior surfaces include all stiles, rails, door/drawer faces, side panels, and chair recess. Both sides of doors to be painted. Interior shelving and cabinet interior not to be painted.

PROJECT DETAILS:

1. New Materials a. New Paint: Sherwin Williams SW 6779 Liquid Blue. b. Completed product to have a smooth even finish that completely covers existing paint. c. To be applied according to manufacturer guidelines. d. Contractor to provide sample for approval prior to installation.

2. Area a. Undercounter Cabinets: Approximately 150 SF. b. Overhead Cabinets: Approximately 50 SF. c. Contractor to verify all measurements. d. See attached photo.

3. Working Conditions a. Work to be completed 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.b. Adjacent surfaces not to be painted to be properly protected during painting process. c. Work area to be kept clean and trash removed daily.

4. References and Work Examples a. Selected contractor may be asked to provide references and examples of previous work completed.

5. Warranty a. Contractor to provide a one-year on completed work
