Jones Beach west ballfield resurfacing

Renovate the West Ballfield to correct the infield/outfield transition (“lip”), improve grading and drainage, refresh infield clay, reset the 70’ arc, and install new bases, home plate, and pitcher’s rubber. Work limits and lip locations will be shown on a visual map at NTP (reference the red-lined arc on the attached concept). This is a maintenance-level renovation, not a full reconstruction. Scope includes: strip & replace sod along the outfield arc (≈10–12’ wide across ≈223 LF); cut/haul excess material and regrade the infield/outfield transition; rototill and fine-grade the existing skinned infield; furnish & install new infield clay mix; re-establish the 70’ arc; furnish/install home plate, pitcher’s rubber, and base anchors; adjust/replace impacted irrigation laterals within work limits; final broom clean and restoration.

Work shall begin as soon as access is coordinated with Park Staff.

Project must be completed by 4/1/26
