JOLLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – DEMOLITION & SITE GRADING

Notice is hereby given that the City of Vermillion, South Dakota will receive, publicly open, and read bids and proposals at City Hall located at 25 Center Street on the 12 ^th day of March 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The bids will be acted upon by the City Council at City Hall located at 25 Center Street on the 17 ^th day of March 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The materials and services required are as follows:

JOLLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – DEMOLITION and SITE GRADING

The major quantities for the base bid are 1 LS of Structure Demolition; 6,717 CY of Contractor Furnished Borrow; 1,429 CY of Contractor Furnished Borrow; 804 LB of Type D Permanent Seed Mixture; 884 LB of Fertilizing; 5,360 LB of Fiber Mulch.

The major quantities for the alternate no. 1 bid are 5,443 CY of Contractor Furnished Borrow; 417 CY of Contractor Furnished Topsoil; 237 LB of Type D Permanent Seed Mixture; 261 LB of Fertilizing; 1,580 LB of Fiber Mulch.

Copies of the specifications are available for review at the office of the City Engineer, 25 Center Street, Vermillion, South Dakota, 57069.

Bid security is required according to state law and the bid specifications.

Payment for the materials and services herein provided for will be in cash.

The City of Vermillion reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein.
