At that time, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly read aloud via Zoom Video Conferencing at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83745346181?pwd=zxUq5D5QRCBUzfUhTiO3X5esPDtek1.1 Meeting ID: 837 4534 6181 Passcode: 013043 This bid includes the following Work: Install fencing with electric gates and controls, construct up to three (3) parking canopies with electrical, various landscaping, and asphalt and concrete removal & replacement at the Johnson County Sheriff New Century Campus, including all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any and all other items necessary to complete the Work. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 10:00AM CT on April 30, 2026, at the Sheriff Operations Building located at 27745 W. 159th Street, New Century, Kansas 66031. Representation is required by General Contractors/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on May 7, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
