At that time, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly read aloud via Zoom Video Conferencing at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83745346181?pwd=zxUq5D5QRCBUzfUhTiO3X5esPDtek1.1 Meeting ID: 837 4534 6181 Passcode: 013043 This bid includes the following Work: Install fencing with electric gates and controls, construct up to three (3) parking canopies with electrical, various landscaping, and asphalt and concrete removal & replacement at the Johnson County Sheriff New Century Campus, including all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any and all other items necessary to complete the Work. Copies of the Project Manual are available through IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net/SourcingEvents.aspx?SourceType=1 or can be downloaded for a non-refundable fee online at https://projectbids.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution public jobs plan room; additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com . A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 10:00AM CT on April 30, 2026, at the Sheriff Operations Building located at 27745 W. 159th Street, New Century, Kansas 66031. Representation is required by General Contractors/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on May 7, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
