This bid includes the following Work:

Renewal of the Air Handler Units (AHU), Chillers, Boiler, and Pumps at the Johnson County Administration Building including all materials, labor, eqipment, supervision, and all other items necessary to fully complete the Work.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2:00PM CT on June 25, 2026, at the Johnson County Administration Building located at 111 S. Cherry Street, Olathe, Kansas 66061. Representation is required by General/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Please gather in the employee parking lot. Please gather in the lower-level conference room 202/204.

BID BOND: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Public Building Commission of Johnson County, Kansas.

No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.

Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder for the Work covered by the Base Bid(s) and any approved alternate(s) and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.

No bidder shall in any way, directly or indirectly, discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment or any other person because of age, race, color, disability, sex, national origin or religious creed, or other circumstance prohibited by federal state or local law, rule or regulation.
