Copies of the Plans and Project Manual are available through IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net/SourcingEvents.aspx?SourceType=1 or can be downloaded for a non-refundable fee online at https://projectbids.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution public jobs plan room; additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com . A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 2:00PM CT on June 25, 2026, at the Johnson County Administrative Building located at 111 S. Cherry Street, Olathe, Kansas 66061. Representation is required by General/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Please gather in the lower-level conference room 202/204. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on July 2, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Public Building Commission of Johnson County, Kansas. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
