Project Description: The project involves the full removal and replacement of approximately 81,000 square
feet of existing low-slope membrane roof systems, both ballasted and adhered, at John
Marshall High School. Work includes complete removal of existing roof system down to
deck and installation of new fully-adhered EPDM membrane roof system including
insulation, protection board, EPDM membrane, flashing and trim. Existing roof-mounted
equipment to be removed and reinstalled to allow for roof replacement. The project also
includes some masonry tuckpointing, caulk joint replacement and cleaning for areas of
brick above the roof being replaced.
