PUBLIC NOTICE OF SALE
The Town of Stratham is inviting offers from the public for the following surplus equipment for parts only
and cannot be repaired:
2004 John Deere 544J Loader
Year: 2004
Make: John Deere
Model: 544J
Front End Loader
Hole in Engine Block and Cut Frame
These items are sold "as is, where is" with no warranties expressed or
implied, including but not limited to, "suitability for use," "merchantability"
or "fitness for particular use." Accepted offers will be considered final.
Interested persons can view the loader at the Town of Stratham Department
of Public Works located at 70 Bunker Hill Ave, Stratham, NH 03885 Monday through Friday, between 7:30 am and 3:30
pm between the notice post date and the offer due date.
All offers must include a name, contact information, equipment being bid on, and bid offer, to be considered.
Offers may be sent to c/o Public Works Department, 10 Bunker Hill Avenue, Stratham, NH 03885 no later than 3:30 pm
on Friday, August 14th, 2026. Offers received after this date and time will not be considered.
All offers received before the required deadline will be publicly considered by the Select Board at the meeting on
Monday, August 17th, 2026. The Select Board reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all offers, and to waive
any technical or legal deficiencies/formalities and to accept the offer considered to be in the best interest of the Town.
The Select Board also reserves the right to suspend this notice at any time and will not be responsible for any costs
associated with the preparation of any offer. The person providing a selected offer must provide cash or a certified bank
check to complete the purchase. Possession of the purchased item must be made within 72 hours of payment at the
expense of the purchaser. If possession of the vehicle is not taken within 72 hours, the Town of Stratham reserves the
right to move to the next buyer.
