Project Description. In accordance with RFO FAR 36.101, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for a project to repair a water leak from the generator headcover of Unit 10 at John Day Dam. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, field verification and inspection to identify the source of the leak, preparation of the work area, performing necessary repairs such as replacing gaskets and seals or repairing cracks, and post-repair testing to verify the leak has been resolved. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to perform the work. The estimated price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.



Location of Work. The work will be performed at the John Day Dam in Rufus, Oregon.



Tentative Schedule.

• Invitation for Bids (IFB) Issue Date: On or about June 26th, 2026.

• Bid Opening Date: On or about October 2nd, 2026.

• Anticipated Period of Performance: April 1, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
