Overview
Summary

The intent of this solicitation is to establish a Job Order Contract with one or more qualified companies, appropriately licensed in the State of Arizona, to perform well maintenance and repair projects. The Contractor(s) will be asked to perform well maintenance and repair, booster station maintenance and repair, and other tasks related to wells and booster stations. Work will include but not be limited to pulling pumps and motors from potable wells, brushing, bailing, sonar jetting, videoing, swabbing, rehabilitating pumps and motors, installing pumps and motors, etc. Work will be performed in Kingman, Golden Valley, Bullhead City, and Lake Havasu City. A list of current County water system components expected to be serviced under this contract is included as Exhibit 1. It should be noted that this list should not be taken as the only equipment that may need to be serviced, as the County may expand any of its water systems adding to this list or modify any of their components which may change the type of equipment.

The County anticipates award to multiple contractors, who may or may not specialize in servicing all of the County’s facilities. For example one contractor may be specialized in working on lower horsepower, lower flow wells while another may be specialized in higher horsepower, higher flow wells. The County intends on awarding to both types of contractors in order to best meet the County’s needs. The County anticipates awarding no more than five (5) individual contracts.

Background

The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and material required to complete assigned projects. This work may be required during normal working hours, after normal working hours, or on weekends and holidays. All work shall follow industry standards as well as specifications and details provided by Mohave County. Services will be requested on an as-needed, if-needed basis; and, the resultant Contracts are neither exclusive nor imply a commitment by Mohave County that the Contractors’ services will be required. The estimated budget for the first calendar year of the resultant contract(s) is Four Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($425,000.00).
