JJE Pool Painting Project

General work description: The City of Florissant is seeking a contractor to paint the walls, bleachers, and railings at James J. Eagan indoor pool. The scope of work should include the following.

Pool Facility:

1. Pressure wash pool walls, railings, and bleachers
2. Mask off and apply one coat of primer
3. Apply two coats of water based catalyzed epoxy to walls and soffit under bleachers
4. Accent color to be applied to areas that currently have blue accent color, including stripes on the walls
5. Painting of railing with two coasts of water based urethane enamel
6. Paint the hollow metal door and frame in the bleacher area
7. Demask and clean up area
8. Lifts or scaffolding should be measured and taken into consideration prior to bidding.

Slide Structure and Bridge:

A. Prep and apply one coat of epoxy primer and one coat of urethane finish

Additional Requirements:

Work must be completed during the month of August 2025 during our indoor pool annual shutdown.

All colors will be finalized once the contractor is selected and paint samples should be made available for selection.
