Jaworek School Stand-By Generator Installation

The City of Marlborough, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Prime Contractors I General Contractors (GC) and Filed Sub-Bidders (FSB) for JAWOREK SCHOOL STAND-BY GENERATOR INSTALLATION project at Charles Jaworek Elementary School located at 444 Hosmer Street in Marlborough, MA; Project PF 2026-02 in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Context Studios LLC.

The scope of the Contract is for the complete installation of a diesel-powered generator to be located at the Jaworek School in Marlborough Massachusetts. The work includes, but is not limited to, site preparation including locating and protecting existing underground utility lines, construction of reinforced concrete pad, providing and installing new generator with diesel base and enclosure, new concrete encased underground utility runs, interior utility runs, all required electrical connections including to existing systems, commissioning and start-up of genset, painted steel pipe bollards, bituminous concrete patching, restoration of lawn areas, and all other work as required to complete the project as indicated on the Bidding and Contract Documents.

The work schedule is ninety (90) calendar days and is estimated to cost approximately $720,000.
