Janitorial Services - Main Facilities & Small Facilities

The City of Pittsburg invites proposals from qualified firms for Janitorial Services for the City of Pittsburg for four (9) building locations: City Hall/Police Department (65 Civic Avenue), Housing Authority (Community Access) (916 Cumberland Avenue), Pittsburg Senior Center (300 Presidio Lane), Pittsburg Library (80 Power Avenue), and five smaller building facilities in Pittsburg, California.  The scope of work is specific to each building location as described in the RFP.

PROPOSERS CONFERENCE.   The City of Pittsburg invites all interested firms to attend a mandatoryProposers conference and buildings tour as scheduled below:

Those firms interested in submitting a proposal and attending the mandatory conference and tour must make reservations by email bballardo@pittsburgca.gov and nfarmer@pittsburgca.gov no later than 24 hours prior to the conference. The mandatory conference and building tour will start promptly and those vendors whose representatives arrive late will not be considered further.  Proposals will not be accepted from any vendor who did not attend the mandatory Proposers conference. Proposers currently performing janitorial services in these buildings for the City of Pittsburg are NOT required to attend the proposers conference, but it is strongly recommended in case of any changes.

SUBMITTAL TIME AND DATE: May 1, 2026, at 2:00 P.M.

Proposals must arrive (mail or hand delivered) at City Hall, City Clerk’s Office, 1st Floor, 65 Civic Avenue, Pittsburg, California, 94565, by the closing date and time above. Proposals will be further evaluated and will NOT be opened at proposal closing time.
