Janitorial Services for County Administration Building

The County of Greenville is seeking sealed proposals for Janitorial Services for the County Administrative Building located at 301 University Ridge, Greenville SC 29601. The vendor selected will provide all materials, labor, technical expertise, and associated tools necessary to provide industry standard janitorial services as described in this Solicitation. Vendor shall be within a 30-mile radius of the Greenville County Facility and must be able to respond to any issues or problems within a one (1) hour window.

The County Administrative Building includes:

• 5 Stairwells
• 6 Elevators
• 9 Shared Breakrooms
• 3 Warming Kitchens
• 15 Coffee Stations
• 25 Restrooms
• 69 Toilets
• 81 Sinks
• 20 Urinals
• 25 Paper Towel Dispensers
• 50 Soap Dispensers
• 69 Neat Seat
• 55 Sanitary Napkins

Estimated Gross Square Footage does not indicate the net cleanable square feet of the facilities. Vendors may need to measure for the net square feet. A set of floor plans are located in the Attachments section of this RFP.

Two (2) Day Porters will be required during normal office hours of Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. One (1) at North building and One (1) at South Building. All other work must be undertaken after normal office hours which are Monday through Friday, 5:00 P.M. - 8:30 A.M., unless permission to work other hours is obtained in writing in advance from the Manager of Property Management or the appropriate Facilities Manager.

From time-to-time Greenville County Buildings, or parts thereof, are used for meetings or program fulfillment after normal working hours. Usually, the facilities are vacant by 9:00 P.M.; however, it is the contractor’s responsibility to perform the tasks required by this contract regardless of the time vacated. This work will not be postponed until the next day unless approved by the appropriate Facilities Manager.

The contractor will be supplied a list of official holidays on request when it becomes available. Holidays are subject to change.
