James Street Sewer & Street Improvement

Pursuant to NC General Statutes 143-129 and 143-131, sealed bids will be received by the Town of Apex

for the furnishing of all materials and construction of the James Sewer and Street Improvements Project.

Sealed Bids for the construction of the James Sewer and Street Improvements Project will be received

by The Town of Apex until 11:00 AM local time on January 9th, at which time the Bids received will be

publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing 885 LF of 8” PVC sewer-line, 38 LF of 8”

DIP sewer-line, as well as asphalt pavement and concrete work along James Street.

Sealed bids should be submitted to the Town of Apex, P.O. Box 250 or 105-B Upchurch Street, Apex, North

Carolina 27502, Attn: Matthew Reker and marked “James Sewer and Street Improvements Project – Bid

January 9th – 11:00 AM.” All bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond and shall be subject to the

conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit with their Bids affidavits of “Good

Faith Efforts” in the recruitment of Minority Businesses.
