General work description: The City of Florissant is seeking sealed bids from qualified HVAC contractors to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to remove and replace the existing air-cooled chiller system at the James J. Eagan Community Center.
Equipment Specification
Contractor shall furnish and install one (1) air-cooled scroll chiller meeting or exceeding the following specifications:

All equipment shall be new, factory-authorized, and AHRI-certified.
Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide turnkey installation including, but not limited to:
1. Demolition & Removal
Drain, disconnect, and remove existing chiller.
Recover refrigerant and dispose of equipment per EPA regulations.
2. Rigging & Placement
Provide crane and rigging services.
Set and secure new chiller on existing pad/structure.
3. Mechanical Installation
Modify and reconnect piping as required.
Reconnect to existing building systems.
Reuse existing shutoff valves where feasible.
Insulate piping and components as needed.
4. Electrical & Controls
Reconnect existing electrical service.
Re-land existing control wiring.
5. System Start-Up
Fill system, test for leaks, and purge air.
Provide factory startup and commissioning.
Verify full operational performance.
5. Contractor Responsibilities
Field verify all dimensions and utilities.
Coordinate work with City staff.
Maintain site safety and protection.
Provide cleanup and debris disposal.
Obtain permits if required.
Comply with all applicable codes.
