JAIL LAUNDRY WITH GARMENT LEASE

The Support Services Department is seeking qualified firms to provide jail laundry services with all linens leased.  The start date for these services is set to be July 1, 2025.

Sealed Proposals subject to the conditions made a part hereof will be received until

2:00 p.m., on May 14, 2025 for furnishing services described herein.  In the event the County is closed due to inclement weather, this opening will take place on the next business day.

NOTE: A PRE-BID CONFERENCE

For all prospective offerors is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. May 6, 2025 at the Support Services Department . Attendance at this conference is a prerequisite for consideration of an offeror's proposal.  Copies of the bid package will be available at the pre-bid conference and are available on the County’s website https://www.co.davidson.nc.us/ .

Prospective offerors are encouraged to submit written questions in advance. Address is listed above. In the event the County is closed due to inclement weather, this meeting will take place on the next business day.

It is the offeror's responsibility to assure that all addenda have been reviewed.

3.1 This quote is for jail laundry services and leased garments. The items that is included in laundry, pants, tops, underwear (male & female), socks, towels, washcloths, sheets and blankets. No price increases will be allowed during the contract term.

3.2 There should be no scheduled pick-ups or deliveries before, 7 am or after, 4 pm.

3.3 All items must be completely dry, failure to do so, will result in all items being rejected and sent back for drying.
