General Notice

Jackson County, MO PWSD No. 15 (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following

Project:

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the District Office located at 13213 S Lone Jack-Lee’sSummit Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO 64086, until the above time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Construction of approximately 430 lineal feet of 6-inch waterline, approximately 1,465 lineal feet of 8-inchwaterline, and related appurtenances.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Prospective bidders desiring copies of plans, specifications, bid documents, and other Contract Documents can purchase these documents (non-refundable) online at Drexel Technologies in their Plan Room at www.drexeltech.com . Additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com or 913.371.4430. Information regarding this project can be found under the “Public Jobs” link on the website. Partial sets of bidding documents will not be available from Drexel Technologies or Lamp Rynearson. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Any questions regarding the project, plans, specifications, bid documents, or Contract Documents should be directed to Lamp Rynearson at 816.361.0440.

Bidding Documents also may be examined at the Owner’s office, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM; and the office of the Engineer, Lamp Rynearson, 9001 State Line Road, Suite 200, Kansas City, Missouri 64114, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM – Noon and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference will not be held.

Bid Security.

Each Bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Bid Bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) in the amount of 5% and shall be payable without condition to Jackson County, MO PWSD No. 15 as a guarantee that the Bidder, if successful, will execute the Agreement and provide an acceptable Contract Bond from an approved surety in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price.
