This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 VHA Regional Procurement Office-West (RPOW) 124 E. 5441 Babcock Road STE 302, San Antonio, Texas 78240 for the procurement of the Zeiss/PROAIM Equipment Maintenance Service.

Background and Requirement: Contractor shall provide full service for Amarillo VA Medical Center for the Zeiss/PROAIM Equipment in Optometry.
1. Zeiss/PROAIM Equipment Maintenance Service. shall be in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
This service contract will include unlimited repairs.
Parts, software updates, associated devices.
Unlimited labor and travel, and perform preventive maintenance in accordance
with manufacturer recommendations.
All service worked performed needs to be done by a Trained Zeiss/PROAIM
service engineer.
The vendor will have to check in with biomed before preforming service onsite.
The Vendor is responsible for providing documentation on any service preformed
Service engineer will be required to check in with the police services to obtain a
vendor s badge. The vendor will be required to comply with all safety an infection
control and hospital policies.
This equipment for proposed is the Zeiss/PROAIM Equipment Preventive Maintenance Service.
SPECIFIC INSTRUMENT REQUIRED: Amarillo VA Medical Center at 6010 Amarillo Blvd W. Amarillo TX 79106 In Optometry.

The intent of this notice is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g. set-aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a solicitation that VA intends to post soon. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following:

a. where is the item manufactured, the VA is interested in procuring items manufactured in the United States.

If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, include the contract details in your response.

Please note that VA is particularly interested in determining the availability of Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business/Veteran Owned Small Business or other Small Business manufacturers or authorized distributors that can provide this item.
