NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to award a single purchase sole-source contract to ProteinSimple for services to be performed at the Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Research Department in Richmond, Virginia. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,000 Employees.
Description of services:
01: The work expected on the service agreement should include a scheduled preventative maintenance visit by a manufacturer-certified field technician and access to (via phone and email) customer service representatives for remote troubleshooting or to schedule a dispatched field technician when necessary.Â
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no Solicitation will be issued. The justification for this noncompetitive solicitation is due to ProteinSimple being the sole company capable of providing a suite of cryoablation services which includes technicians, equipment, and the required disposables. Market research has determined that this service is highly specialized and only available from a single source. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date of 05 July 20245to ProteinSimple 614 McKinley Place NE Minneapolis, MN 55413.

This synopsis shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services.
