Place of Performance:
The Government is seeking capable upfitters to provide and install heavy-duty push bumpers and PIT wraps for federal law enforcement SUVs and sedans during fiscal year 2027.
The vehicle type that PIT/Push bars will be installed on is unknown at the time of this sources sought.

2. Please provide brochures in .pdf format for the following types of PIT/push bars that your company can provide to support a future acquisition. If there are vehicle restrictions for the PIT/push bar type, please ensure that data is included.
a) Standard Push Bumper
b) Lower PIT Wraps (Single Rail Fender Bars)
c) Full Wrap / Heavy-Duty Grille & Headlight Guards
d) Light-Ready / LED-Integrated PIT Bars
e) Winch-Ready / Heavy Duty (HD)
3. Since exact vehicle makes, models, and model years (e.g., Ford Police Interceptor Utility, Chevy Tahoe PPV, Dodge Durango) are currently undetermined, what is your standard lead time for manufacturing and delivering mounting hardware once vehicle specs are finalized?
4. Do you maintain an inventory of standard, multi-vehicle compatible push bumpers, or are all mounting brackets manufactured strictly built-to-order?
5. It is anticipated that installation will be required within 50 miles of each of the following 3 locations. If your company can not support installation within 50 miles of each of these locations; how can you support this acquisition? For example, would your company pick up the vehicles for installation and deliver upon completion? Describe how you can support this acquisition.

6. If installation occurs beyond the 50-mile radius, does your company provide flatbed/transport pick-up and redelivery services? If yes, is transport pricing structured on a flat-rate per vehicle or a mileage-based rate?
7. Does your company offer mobile upfitting/installation teams capable of performing installation on-site at Government facilities (e.g., an agency bay or secure parking lot) at the designated locations?
8. What is your facility's secure vehicle storage capacity (indoor/fenced lot with 24/7 security) at or near each of the three performance locations?
9. Are installation services available directly on your GSA schedule, or are they provided as open-market items?
10. What is your typical turnaround time (in business days) per vehicle for installing a push bumper / PIT wrap assembly once a vehicle is delivered to your shop?
11. What standard commercial warranty is provided on both the hardware (finish/corrosion) and the installation labor?
12. Are your PIT bars engineered and tested to ensure non-interference with OEM vehicle crash sensors, forward-facing radar, and Supplemental Restraint Systems (SRS airbags)?
13. Please state your company's business size and socioeconomic status under NAICS 336390 (Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturing - 1,000 employees) and/or NAICS 811111 (General Automotive Repair - $9.0M). If you are a Large Business manufacturer, do you anticipate utilizing local certified Small Business upfitters or subcontractors to perform installation within the designated 50-mile geographic zones?

Optional Capability Question: Does your company have the capability (either directly or via a GSA Contractor Team Arrangement / Subcontracting partnership) to provide and install Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) mounting/docking hardware alongside push bumper/PIT bar installations as part of a single turnkey fleet upfit requirement?
