This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposal, quotation, or bid. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08, intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of regular preventative maintenance for a complex pneumatic tube delivery system with 10 blower air shifters, 28 vacuum bypass valves, 89 send/receive stations, 70 distribution stations, and the operational software system.
REQUIREMENT:
The C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center has a complex pneumatic tube delivery system that requires regularly quarterly preventative maintenance on 10 blower shifters, 28 vacuum bypass valves, 89 send/receive stations, 70 distributions, and the operation software system. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to complete the deliverables.

ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE:
The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about 04/10/2026 with responses due approximately 10 days thereafter. The solicitation will be available for download through the SAM website (https://www.sam.gov).

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is an announcement of an upcoming solicitation as required by FAR 5.2 "Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions".
