Solicitation Summary
SHA is requesting the purchase of CHART Stream Manager, Video Transcoder, & Streamer Software Maintenance support renewal. SHA has been relying on this technology and renewing through DOIT contracts since 2010 to stream CHART cameras of differing types throughout all CHART users regardless of agency without overwhelming the MDOT network. Transcoders also allow CHART to import and view cameras of many other agencies natively in the ATMS as well as export the videos to thousands of other local, state, and federal agencies for coordinated emergency response through the MView portal. This service is vital to our first responders. Finally, the transcoders and streamers are required to share CHART Video on our popular CHART on the Web site. SHA & CHART would not be able to share all SHA and MDTA videos in ATMS nor provide them at all to the statewide MView portal and CHART. Our popular public-facing CHART on the Web service would no longer be available.
