NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East (RPOC), Network Contracting Office 10 (NCO 10) intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with VAAR 819.7007 with CAREFUSION SOLUTIONS, LLC, 3750 Torrey View Ct., San Diego, CA 92130, USA.

The Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center (VAACC) in Columbus, OH requires a vendor to
provide maintenance and support services for Pyxis MedStation ES systems, Pyxis Anesthesia ES systems, Pyxis CII Safe system, and Codonics label printers, that includes licenses, Secure Remote Support Services (RSS) to enable ability for remote troubleshooting and problem resolution, access to remote Technical Support Center 24/7/365, on-site field service support 6:00am 6:00pm, M-F as necessary when remote support cannot resolve the issue, replacement parts as needed to keep products properly performing, and remote software patches for device security.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any responsible firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification and capability statements prior to the response due date and time. Vendors shall indicate if they are the direct supplier of the items. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements and must include relevant corporate experience along with the applicable contract number, total contract dollar amount, contract period of performance, details of the relevant services and customer point of contact with corresponding telephone number and email address.

Response received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided will not be returned.
