The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source award to Getinge USA Sales, LLC to acquire a proprietary Getinge Premium Service Plan on behalf of the Hampton VA Medical Center located at 100 EMANCIPATION DR, HAMPTON, Virginia, 23667. Market research has shown that Getinge USA is the only company certified to maintain Getinge-brand equipment. This equipment has already been purchased by Hampton VAMC and is in constant use. No similar brand-specific service plan has been found to be commercially available from any other supplier.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted.
However, any business that believes it can provide a Getinge Premium Service Plan may give written notice to Charlsi.Brooker@va.gov by 6 August 2025 at 10:00AM EDT. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. All interested and capable respondents to this notice shall include company name, address, point of contact, phone number, System for Award (SAMs) Unique Entity Id Number, manufacturer authorization letter, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller documentation.
Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
